Bid Notice – Senior Center Fire Alarm System: FIRE ALARM SYSTEM BID PROPOSAL The Town of Prospect is requesting bids from qualified fire alarm contractors for the furnishing, installation, programming, testing, inspection, and monitoring of a complete new non-proprietary fire alarm system at the Prospect Senior Center, located at 6 Center Street, Prospect, Connecticut. The selected contractor shall provide a complete, operational fire alarm system designed and installed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project necessary to provide a complete and functioning fire alarm system. The Town will not accept bids for proprietary systems. The specs can be viewed online at https://townofprospect.gov/bid-notices/ or picked up at the Mayor's Office. A mandatory site inspection will take place on Tuesday, November 10 at 10 AM at the Prospect Senior Center located at 6 Center Street, Prospect, CT 06712. Bidders shall inspect the existing conditions and satisfy themselves as to the nature and extent of the work required. Questions regarding existing conditions shall be submitted to the Town prior to the bid deadline. Contractors shall not rely solely upon the written scope of work when determining the completeness of their bid. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "PROSPECT SENIOR CENTER FIRE ALARM SYSTEM." Bids shall be delivered to Town of Prospect, 36 Center Street, Prospect, CT 06712. Bids must be received no later than November 17, 2026 at 10 AM, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The Town of Prospect reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids; to waive any informalities; to divide the award; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Prospect. Bid Notice – Furnace Replacement Police Dept: TOWN OF PROSPECT INVITATION TO BID PROSPECT POLICE STATION — FURNACE REPLACEMENT The Town of Prospect is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and properly licensed heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors for the replacement of the existing furnace at the Prospect Police Station, located at 8 Center Street, Prospect, Connecticut 06712. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and services necessary to complete the furnace replacement in a complete and professional manner. The Town intends to award the contract to a responsible and qualified bidder whose proposal meets the requirements of this Invitation to Bid and provides the best value to the Town, subject to applicable municipal requirements.
