NEW Marriage License Update: Fall Tag Sale Saturday, September 19th. Add your address to the tag sale list by Wednesday!!: September Hazardous Waste Collection: The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) and participating municipalities will sponsor a Fall Household Hazardous Waste and Paint Collection event on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ansonia Transfer Station, 1 N Division St., Ansonia, CT 06401. This event is for residents of the following communities: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Derby, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oxford, Prospect, Seymour, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, and Woodbury. - Free of charge. - Proof of residency (such as a driver’s license, tax bill, or other identification) is required for entrance. - Residents are asked to stay in their cars at all times. Trained waste handlers will remove materials from the cars. - Up to 50 lbs. of residential waste will be accepted per vehicle. If you think you might exceed this limit, send an email with your name, address, and type of waste to [email protected] by Monday before the collection date. If your bills are listed under different first names, you must search under each name separately using just the first initial of each person's first name.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Bill numbers for taxes paid during the calendar year 2025, in most cases, will start with 2023 and 2024. The second installment of real estate and personal property taxes and supplement motor vehicle bills for the 2024 Grand List became due January 1, 2025, and the first installment of real estate and personal property taxes and annual motor vehicle bills for the 2024 Grand List became due July 1, 2025.
